Owner Review: Panerai Luminor Marina 8 Days PAM510

Panerai Luminor Marina 8 Days PAM510

Being a die hard Paneristi and having previously owned both a Bronzo and a Ceramica, two head turning statement watches. I wanted a Panerai perfect for everyday wear with that iconic crown guard and the beautiful sandwich dial. I was looking for a Panerai that could be simple and easily recognizable. On my 30th Birthday I decided to finally pull the trigger on the Panerai Luminor Marina 8 Days PAM 510.

The watch sports the classic Panerai military look that we all know and love, the large luminous numerals and a sub seconds indicator at 9 o’clock making the PAM 510 appealing to pretty much any watch enthusiast. The watch is incredibly clean and really beautiful which makes it really easy to wear, unlike my previous Bronzo and Ceramica.

Coming in at a very wearable 44mm the Panerai Luminor Marina is equipped with the new in-house P.5000 caliber which is perfectly crafted to match the simple military look of this watch. The movement is visible via the exhibition case back. Since my watch rotation consists of 10 to 12 watches the 8 Days Power Reserve is very useful for my lifestyle. The Panerai 510 comes on a classic black leather strap with a large polished buckle and like most Panerai it comes with an extra rubber strap and a well finished screwdriver that can be used with the watch.

I love wearing my Panerai Luminor Marina 8 Days, the dial hugs my small to medium size wrist perfectly and it doesn’t look out of proportion at all. I enjoy experimenting with straps, and every time I change things up it feels like I’m wearing a totally new watch.

To the manufacture in Neuchatel, thank you for keeping your true DNA with the Panerai Luminor Marina 8 Days PAM 510.
