Owner Review: Squale 30 Atmos GMT 1545 – A beautiful watch with flaws

Squale 30 Atmos GMT 1545

First of all, I need to let you know something. I love Squale as a company and this watch is a stunner! But I do have some issues with the watch. The previous 30 Atmos watches were all 42mm and were a perfect fit for me. Although it seems that Squale eventually listened to customers requesting a 40mm GMT. I personally preferred the 42mm size case. However, that’s just me. Overall, the size of the Squale 30 Atmos GMT 1545 is fine for the majority of the watch community though.

The wonderful jubilee bracelet is one of the best I’ve come across, and doesn’t pull all the hair out of your wrist, which is a big plus point! It is the overall look of this watch that is the real winner though, it is a really beautiful watch. It’s not like your average Pepsi bezel Watch. The bezel has a metallic look, and combined with its polished case and jubilee bracelet, it looks phenomenal! The dimensions are just that little bit smaller than I would have expected. My other issue is that the polished case is a total scratch magnet. The flat box that the watch comes in, with its folding watch wrap is a bit on the boring side.

I would really like to see something different from Squale in the future. The watch itself is a stunner and is less of a Rolex homage than many of its counterparts. It looks really great on NATO straps too! I think for the money, I would much rather invest in the Squale 1521 with its iconic history and unique individuality. However if all I could ever have was this Squale 30 Atmos GMT 1545, then I would be content. It is also very user friendly and it is incredibly easy to use the GMT function.
