    G’day Anthony and Roman,
I came across Fifth Wrist a couple of months ago and have been enjoying the podcasts while working, especially the Independent Watchmakers episodes. Recently started from Fifth’s beginning and have now come to the introductory episode for Roman: listening to the ‘Independents’ I thought he was a founding member he carried it so well 😀
Roman’s discussions about Harrison, Mudge, Breguet etc. struck a chord as, after 25 years of hand tools only fine bespoke shoemaking, I’m now moving to studying Antiquarian Horology with the encouragement of some watchmakers I know. When you get back to the early few centuries of the trade, the hand skills with simple tools (and the glorious watches they made with them) are amazing, and much more approachable, and affordable, for someone starting out.
Thanks for the channel, and I will now go onto Episode two of Roman’s introduction.
    Cheers
