I bought the Sinn 104 ST SA from a famous Youtuber. I watched him lust over it in his reviews and to be honest, so did I. Then it came up for sale and I didn’t hesitate to buy it. And I havent regretted it since! This watch is a strap magnet and looks superb on Flieger straps, NATO straps, the Sinn bracelet and even vintage German made Eulit straps.
I’m absolutely over the moon with this watch, and even though my mate The Watch Regulator wants total honesty on our reviews ‘The Good, the bad, the fugly’ well, I have no major negative remarks for this one. If I had to pick at something, my only disappointment, is that it didn’t come with the fancy Sinn watch tool when it came from the AD, unless you bought the bracelet version, but that’s bollocks though, it should have come with one. Not a mega deal breaker though.
The lume is magnificent and the size at 41mm is perfect for all wrists in my opinion. At its price point, it takes the piss out (makes fun of) of the competition! Price retention in the pre-owned market is excellent! I’m not a big fan of bi rotational bezels, but the one on this Sinn is ok, due to the bezel action being quite firm, so you don’t need to keep correcting it due to it moving every time you put your flying jacket on 🙂
The caseback shows a nicely decorated Swiss movement, that is something to love. The strap and buckle that comes with it is of a high quality. These 104’s come in several different formats including, but not limited to: Green dial, blue dial, white dial, an Arabic numeral dial and a Bracelet version. As I said in the header, if James Bond had hailed from Deutschland I think the German version of MI-6 would have issued the Sinn 104 ST SA to 007, lazers and all! I think this watch could be worn during any occasion! Bit sad about no watch tool… waaa! Nice box set though.
