Owner Review: Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm 114300

Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm 114300

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm 114300 white dial or as some might call it, matte silver dial, is a very classy watch that also enjoys a minimalistic style. It is a great every day watch as it fits pretty much every occasion and goes with almost every outfit. It really can handle anything you might throw at it. Even though it is a daily wear watch for many of the wearers, it has a strong presence none the less.

The reliable Rolex in-house 3132 movement is a workhorse and with an acceptable 48 hour power reserve, you get a decent amount of bang for your buck with this watch. When it comes to the face of the watch, the hands, hour markers, and applied crown logo on the dial are all finished in a stunning white gold. The solid Rolex screw down crown feels incredibly sturdy and gives its owner confidence when deployed during time adjustments. This watch is a stunning piece and for an entry level model, does its job very well. It might be an entry level Rolex but it certainly couldn’t be described as an entry level luxury watch. It more than holds its own in the Swiss watch hierarchy. It feels light when it is on your wrist, but you will always know it is there. If I am honest then I would say that the lume could be a little bit better, but it does do the job well enough. The clasp is well constructed, with a secure and solid feeling locking mechanism.

I honestly think that every watch enthusiast’s collection should have a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm 114300 in it at some point and since this white/silver dial was released in 2018, it has most certainly become a must have in my opinion.
