Long before I found the Rolex GMT Master II Batman BLNR 116710 the watch bug bit me when I was relatively young. In 2013 the BLNR was launched as the first watch in the world with a dual colour ceramic bezel. This helped to propel it to huge popularity in no time.

Sized at 40mm it will fit most wrists with ease. The maxi case being a little more bulky than the old case gives it the feel of being better built. It wears heavier on the wrist but it is still very comfortable plus it oozes style and presence. The new 11 series maxi cases are very well built compared to their older counterparts, so the build quality is a major bump up.

The ideal watch for a business traveller, I travel with the Rolex on all my business trips overseas with the Rolex GMT-II, my time zone is set to the market I work with overseas and keeps me posted.

In every light setting the bezel has a nice change in color which sometimes surprises me. It sometimes looks all black too, so thats like getting two watches in one. You can easily match this watch with shorts and a t-shirt, or you can be fully suited up with the Batman.

That’s one thing I love about it, as it can be worn as a daily and also double up as a sport or a dress watch for many people.
