Tutima Patria Small Second
43mm x 11.2mm 18k rose gold case, 50m WR.
Lovely sculptural clickspring and fairly Lang & Heyne-like click.
Lang & Heyne (drongo?) bird-looking click
Can anyone other than Rob’s offshore friends with their 17 inch wrists actually wear a chunky 43mm watch as an elegant dress watch? “Cold enamel” is actually epoxy resin, not really anything to do with melted glass. Steel version with blue “cold enamel” dial is 4900EUR, so 16800EUR or 77% of the price is the gold case.
Not limited, 21700EUR (38000 gumnuts)

Patek Philippe Nautilus 5811/1G
Patek does a Rolex, ups the size by 1mm. Clasp now has a comfort release system. Same 35 hour power reserve 26-330 S C movement as the last few limited edition nautilus, NOW HAS HACKING SECONDS!!. Back to a 2-piece case like the 3700 rather than the cheaper, easier to make 5711. Different font on the datewheel than the 5711. Slightly darker dial. “Patek has changed the orientation of the stem to the dial side to make it easier to deal with the fact that the case works like a monocoque”.
Posted by @budgecoutts, no idea where he got it from
Not limited but good luck getting one, 59000CHF (103000 gumnuts)
Patek Philippe 5373P-001
38.3 x 13.3mm brushed platinum case, 30m WR
Patek does a Rolex and unexpectedly releases a destro watch. Really quite modern and sporty hollowed out lugs. Diamond that’s usually between the bottom lugs is between the top lugs – essentially proof that they just flipped it over. Wonkily (contrast) stitched fabric strap, about as bad taste as unique pieces from the early 2000s.
“Oh but we did a left handed split seconds chronograph before” – Patek
Sold for 2372000CHF in 2006
Patek 5372
Likely limited edition, price on request, according to one source it’s 500000CHF (870000 gumnuts)
Patek Philippe 5935A-001
41 x 12.75mm stainless steel case, 30m WR.
Steel case and salmon dial is going to fly off the shelves. Much like a Tudor it comes with a complimentary strap. New shade of salmon described as “shimmering rose gilt hue”.
Pateks old and new salmon hues
Not limited, 63400EUR* (110000 gumnuts) * price is on request only so the CHF price isn’t available online yet.
Patek Philippe 7968/300R-001
39.9 x 10.37mm rose gold case, with colored baguette sapphires (grade, clarity??), 30m WR.
“Not necessarily a ladies watch” according to friend of the sh(n)ow Wei Koh. Hodinkee style editor Malaika Crawford says:
But personally, I don’t think of Patek as a dominant player in the current women’s watch space. My mind veers first toward Rolex or Cartier. I’m sure if I polled my female friends, they would also name other brands ahead of PP. All of which is what makes this new Aquanaut so exciting. It’s a legitimately thrilling new Patek designed for women. (..) I am not wild about calling these pieces “ladies'” watches. But that’s what the brand calls them. And until the day when watches truly have no gender, part of our job is to acknowledge how watches are positioned in the market – even when we think (as I do in this case) the watch is good for anybody who’s willing to wear an armful of jewels. It’s made for women, wearable by everyone.
Not Limited edition, 180000CHF (320000 gumnuts)
Vacheron hasn’t released anything since the Louvre collection. Sometimes not playing is the only way to not lose.. Any bets on when VC are releasing a rainbow set watch?
De Bethune DB Kind of Two Jumping GMT
43.4mm x 11.4mm grade 5 titanium case, 30m WR.
Launched at SIAR which Rob has never been to and never will, much like Alex has never been to Baselworld and definitely never will be. Deadbeat seconds on the classic side. GMT allows 2 time zones, different on each side. 28-piece spring loaded lugs and revolving midcase construction that’s 1mm thinner than a ceramic daytona. De Bethunes 30th calibre. (caliber or calibre?)

318.90.45.79.01.003
45mm × 14.7mm, 48mm lug-to-lug, grade 2 titanium case, 30m WR.
The European Space Agency asked Omega to develop a watch with specific functions for measuring time on Mars. A day on Mars (a sol) is 39 minutes and 35 seconds longer than one day on Earth. Features a solar compass for finding north both on earth and Mars, Mars timer and 24 month battery life. 12, 3, 6 & 9 markers on the bezel shaped like rockets.. or something else. Bracelet is grade 2 outer links and grade 5 titanium polished midlinks. Teak-looking bezel according to friend of the show and former guest Richard.
