Charitable Watch Restoration

Charitable Watch Restoration

One of the saddest things that I hear is when people say that their heritage watch is not worth restoring. That fixing it would cost more than the value of the watch. I can understand that people think that it doesn’t make financial sense but in this wonderful world of watches, nothing makes financial sense. Being able to wear my dad’s quartz Seiko is more important to me than being able to wear my grandfather’s near century-old mechanical Rolex. Sadly only the later would make financial sense to have restored.

That is why in memory of my late father (who gave me this terrible watch obsession in the first place) we will be bringing back to life one heritage watch every month as a gift to members of the watch community. So whether it is your grandfather’s military Hamilton or your father’s retirement Longines, we would like to help.

At the moment we are aiming to work on one watch per month but hopefully, this number can increase as the website grows. All you need to do is email us at heritage@fifthwrist.com and tell us all about your watch. Please provide us with as many details and pictures as possible. The more hard work that you do, the more time it gives us to work on your heritage watches.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

Alex
