Owner Review: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Off Shore 26470or

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Off Shore 26470or

With the sun shining in the sky, beautifully tanned arms, and a perfect white T-shirt, this particular piece is unbeatable. I love the size and the “umpff” on my wrist that only a watch like the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Off Shore 26470or provides. The polished and brushed case gives so much back to the wearer and other watch guys will never hesitate to try it on or at least ask you about it. It is a highly admirable watch and even on my tiny wrist (16.3cm) it fits like Hanzel in Gretchen. I love this piece, but not so much during the winter time or with a long-sleeved shirt.

The size of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Off Shore 26470or is the best or the worst of this piece. The quality is over the top, even the critics will have to admit that the finish of the case and the beating heart are stunning. I have heard many rumors about the poor quality of the movement, but with this one, I think it is nothing more than just rumors.

When it first was shown to the world in 1993 (ref.: 25721) it was rightly called “The Beast” and many purists thought the elegance of the Royal Oak was destroyed. Maybe so, but the “Offshore” is so much more (or less) than the Royal Oak. It’s the funny brother, the loudmouth of the family. For that I just love it.
