Caravelle was the entry level brand of Bulova, and as such many Caravelle models are a bit lackluster compared to their Bulova equivalent.
This is the Caravelle Sea Hunter. The bezel is bidirectional and has no clicks at all, making it basically useless.
For some this feature is fine and for me I guess I wouldn’t take this watch in the water at all given its age and vintage status. All that being said sometimes I just want to spin the bezel and hear the clicks.
This old Caravelle Sea Hunter is still very cool. Far from the big, chunky divers of today, It’s simple, light weight and comfortable to wear.
I feel like I got a pretty good deal on this watch considering it’s condition and age, but there are some sellers on ebay putting absurd prices on these watches right now.
